Brief introduction of research:

Dr. Liu is currently working in School of Environment and Energy, South China University of Technology. His main research directions include: Emerging contaminants; Novel process for municipal wastewater treatment; Excess sludge reduction; Odor problem for drinking water, which were financially supported by several research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China. He received his Ph.D degree in Urban Engineering from Osaka City University, Japan in 2010. After the graduation of Ph.D, he worked as a postdoc in Virginia Tech (USA) and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). Since July of 2013, he joined South China University of Technology as an associate professor. He has published near 40 SCI peer-reviewed articles including world famous journals in environmental science such as Environmental science & technology, Water research, and Science of the total environment, and the total SCI citations are over 560 times.
