Brief introduction of research: 
Anatolijs Borodinecs, Professor/Lead Researcher, has a Dr.Sc.Ing. degree in technical science. Since 2013 holds Professor status in Institute of Heat, Gas and Water Technology of Riga Technical University, Riga, Latvia. Main research areas are building energy efficiency and building physics. The major elaborated project is creation and implementation of buildings’ energy evaluation and monitoring scheme for district with 140 multistorey apartment buildings. Recently Borodinecs participated in INTERREG project “Central Baltic Cooperation in Energy Efficiency; Feasibility in Urban Planning” as Regional Manager and WP3 “Development of the Practical Energy Efficiency HANDBOOK” as Leader. Currently Borodinecs is participating in FP7 project “Strategies towards Energy Performance and Urban Planning” and HORIZON2020” “Development and Advanced Prefabrication Of Innovative, Multifunctional Building Envelope Elements for MOdular REtrofitting and CONNECTions.” For the last six years Borodinecs has published series of SCOPUS databases publications on indoor air quality and buildings energy efficiency. Borodinecs has experience at Indoor Environment Center, Department of Architectural Engineering, Pennsylvania State University, under Fulbright Scholarship. Since 2013 Borodinecs makes articles review for journals and international conferences.
Since 2015 Borodinecs holds REHVA FELLOW status. Borodinecs is Member of the Board of Latvian Association of Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning Engineers and Member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
