Brief introduction of research:

· Process modeling, monitoring and optimization: environment processes modeling and optimization using computational intelligence, such as such as Artificial Neural Network (ANN), adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), genetic algorithm (GA), and Markov chain.
· Process control: Model predictive control (MPC), cascade control, adaptive control for complex chemical, physical or biological processes; controller performance assessment/monitoring.
· Environmental behavior of potential persistent organic pollutants: calculating and simulating, structure-activity relationships for environmental activity of organic pollutants using data-driven methods neural network methods such as PCA, PLS, ICA, FDA, ANN and GA.
