Brief introduction of research:

Engr. Rionel Caldo received his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the Lyceum of the Philippines University – Laguna (LPU-L) in 2006, Masters in Public Administration (MPA) in Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2010, and Masters of Science in Electronics and Engineering (MSc ECE) in De La Salle University in 2013 under Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Engineering Research and Development Technology (ERDT) scholarship. Currently, he is currently pursuing his Masters in Engineering with specialization in Computer Engineering in Adamson University under Commission on Higher Education (CHED) scholarship program. He took his leave of absence for his Doctor of Philosophy in Electronics and Communications Engineering (PhD-ECE) under DLSU scholarship to finish his third master’s degree for vertical alignment. He worked as Statistical Process Control (SPC) Data Management System (DMS) Engineer for three years in Ibiden Philippines, Inc. He took full time faculty position of LPU-L, Intellectual Property Coordinator of LPU-Laguna, Research Coordinator of COECS department and Computer Engineering program chair. He is also an Assistant Professorial Lecturer 2 in De La Salle University, Assistant Professor 3 in Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) also known as Mapua Institute of Technology at Laguna and Assistant Professor 4 in University of Perpetual Help Dalta System – Calamba Campus. He was able to present and publish multiple papers in the local and international arena, including Scopus, EI and ISI publications in respected journals. He publishes 13 Scopus-indexed conference proceedings in IEEE, Scopus, EI and ISI journal Springer publications. As of date, he had 130 research publications, 47 research presentations, 44 seminars/conferences/conventions/workshops attended, 32 awards and scholarships and 18 resource speaking and chairmanship engagements. He was granted funds from DOST and CHED for research presentation, publication and dissemination. He was a recipient of several research awards and organizing and chairing research colloquia in the institution. He was the general conference chair of the National Research Conference on Computer Engineering Applications (RCCEA) for 2015 and 2016.  He was invited as resource speakers to more than eight universities and institutions in the country. He takes chairmanship of different sessions and peer reviews in International Conferences. Also, he is a Technical Program Committee (TPC) Member and Reviewer of the prestigious organization: Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (IEEE).
