Tao Xue is a Professor in the Computer Science Dept at Xi’an Polytechnic University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Xi’an JiaoTong University. He obtained his M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Northwestern University of China. His research interests include cloud computing, big data, and Internet of Things. As a leading researcher, he has participated in a number of funding and research projects, and has extensive experience in the field of engineering. Including the National Science and Technology Major Project “Core Electronics and High-end General Chips and Foundation Software”, the national development and Reform Commission high technology industrialization project, 11th Five-Year National Science and technology support projects, science and Technology Department of Shaanxi province science and technology innovation projects, Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province, Xi'an industry and Information Technology Commission project etc.. More than 30 papers have been published at important academic journals and international conferences and 18 papers have been indexed by SCI and EI. Approved 3 national invention patents. Member of China Computer Federation (CCF) and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
