Brief introduction of research:
Dr. Ritayan Chatterjee present research interest targets the extraction of metal from sulfide ores by an environmentalfriendly route through high temperature hydrogen reduction and thermodynamicsand kinetics of the gas-solid reduction process along with the relevantcharacterizations of the intermediate products. Simultaneously he is interestedin synthesizing nano-materials through mechanochemical processes.
Dr. Ritayan Chatterjee have 6 years of research experience from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department,Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India and Materials Engineering Division, Lund University,Sweden, respectively. At present he is working as Assistant Professor at HaldiaInstitute of Technology, India since 2014.
