Research Experience：
Dr. Farha Sattar has more than twenty-four years teaching experience in teaching Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Mathematics and e-Learning technologies at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has worked in several universities including University of the Punjab and University of Twente, the Netherlands.
Farha has worked on various research projects related to GIS and Information Technology. Her research is focused on applied spatial mathematics for satellites image processing, three-dimensional data modeling, and three-dimensional mapping. She has sound experience in information system design and process modeling. Farha has vast knowledge and expertise in the development of spatial database management system, spatial data infrastructure, spatial analysis, and spatial data visualization. She has also conducted multi-disciplinary research related to sustainable development, decision support systems, and geospatial science.
Dr. Farha is well equipped with geospatial quantitative techniques and methods and has the experience to supervise research projects at postgraduate level. She has been an active member of Higher Education Commission and had contributed to curriculum development of GIS, RS and Geography courses.
Her research interests include Drone Technology, ICT in Geospatial Science, Spatial Mathematics education, GIS, and Remote Sensing.
