Research Experience:
Reza Abdi Behnagh received the Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, in 2010 and the PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2016 both from the University of Tehran. During his PhD he worked for a year with Professor Hongtao Ding at the University of Iowa (USA). After the doctorate since 2010 he is a faculty member at Urmia University of Technology, Iran, where is the instructor for the NDT lab and the Laboratory for hydraulics and pneumatics. His primary research interest is in the areas of advanced manufacturing and a wide range of materials science such as:
-Solid-state welding and processing techniques including FSW, FSP, SCP, and friction stir extrusion.
-Sever plastic deformation techniques.
-Simulation of microstructure evolution during forming and processing of materials.
-Finite element simulation of forming and processing techniques.
-Processing of composites.
