Research Experience:
Currently, A.Pro.Ghaffar Ali was working as Associate Professor at the College of Management, Shenzhen University, PR China. Prior to this, he was at Key Lab of Urban Environment and Health, Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand from 2017 to 2018. He has also served the United Nations, Bangkok during 2016. He has post-Ph.D. experience of different organizations of UN, China, Thailand, Pakistan, Japan, and USA for almost 6 years. He has completed my Postdoc at Mahidol University (top most university of Thailand) in 2017 and Ph.D. at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand in 2013 with distinction. His expertise is in the field of Environmental Economics, Climate Change Policy, Food Economics, GHG accounting, and Renewable Energy. He has published more than 40 research papers in high impact factor international journals, conferences, working papers and one book published as well. He is also serving as editor of a book, to be published in 2019 by Willy & Sons. Several articles and monographs are underway to submit/publish soon. He won few international projects and submitted few more. He is very much flexible in group activities, collaborations, field work and joint ventures with the multiple institutions/working groups at any level. He is the reviewer of almost 15 international journals including (Journal of Cleaner Production, Science of the Total Environment, Journal of Environmental Management, Waste Management, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Urban Climate, and Food Security) and member editorial board of a journal.
