Research Experience:
It is mainly engaged in the study of the relationship between lipid metabolism and nutrition, focusing on the pathogenesis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Nutritional interventions of ω-3PUFA (DHA, EPA, alpha-linolenic acid) have been carried out to reveal the mechanism of ω-3PUFA in alleviating NAFLD hepatocyte injury by endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS). He presided over and undertook four projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, one of the major scientific and technological projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology and one of the sub-projects of the National Science and Technology Support Plan. He also presided over three projects of the Hubei Natural Science Foundation, two projects of the Key Science and Technology Plan of the Hubei Education Department and two projects of the Wuhan Science and Technology Bureau. Editor-in-chief of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" textbook "Principles and Technology of Gene Engineering" (Chemical Industry Press, 2016.8, third edition), editor-in-chief of five other textbooks. More than 80 papers have been published, including 26 in SCI journals such as Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, Carbohydrate Polymers, J Sci Food Agric and Clinical Nutrition. Three invention patents have been granted.
