Research Experience:
Dr. Piyush Malaviya obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Science from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, India. He is having more than twelve years of experience of teaching diverse components of Environmental Science at Post-graduate level. At present he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Jammu, Jammu (India). Dr. Malaviya has guided several research scholars persuing various degrees in Environmental Science. His research is published in various international and national journals of high impact and also he is in the Editorial and Reviewer Panels of various international journals. Dr. Malaviya is also the Principle Investigator of Government of India funded major research projects. His research interests include Bioremediation and Agropotentiality assessment of Industrial Wastewaters. He is the member of various Professional Societies and associated with various environmental awareness programmes. He is the recipient of Dr. K.S. Krishnan Research Fellowship, Raman Visiting Scientist Fellowship to visit USA (both funded by Government of India) and Erasmus Mundus Post-Doctoral Fellowship (funded by European Union).
