Research Experience:
I, Dr. Muhammad Rashed Al Mamun have worked as Lecturer, Assistant Professor and now as Associate Professor in the Department of Farm Power and Machinery, Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet, Bangladesh.
I am Dr. Al Mamun is developing myself as an Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering specialist with special emphasis on Bio-resources Engineering. I carried out a good piece of research work and submitted a quality undergraduate project work on Agricultural Machinery and thesis as a part of my Master's degree on Biomass Energy. I have completed my doctoral study from the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kumamoto University, Japan. Since, I joined the PhD programme in the field of Advanced Technology at Thermal Engineering Lab. I have been involved simultaneously in three research projects. The first research project was the development of an efficient co-digestion biogas production process using biodegradable waste materials. The second was the development of economic biogas purification technologies. The third was the development of ground water conservation system. The latter being the main topic of my PhD thesis and the dissertation entitled "Utilization of Biomass Energy to Develop Economic Technology for Farm Power Generation". Consequently, I have achieved Kumamoto University President Award and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Environmental Management in the Islamic World award as a best researcher.
I have completed some research projects on renewable energy, biosystem engineering, advanced technology, and farm machinery
I continued my research work on established of Agricultural and Bio-resources Engineering sectors. I hope if I avail the position I would be able to enhance my ability of teaching, research and innovation. Moreover, I have published many articles national and international journals and conference proceedings through which I honed my writing and reading skills. I have been selected as a reviewer of many international journals.
