Research Experience:
I am currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Landscape Architecture, National Chiayi University, Taiwan. This department is the only independent department in the national universities about the Landscape Architecture in Taiwan. I have 7 years of experience in teaching and research (from 2012 to present) and 7 years of industry experience in the area of landscape architecture. I possess two fields’ degree in bachelor degree of atmospheric science and master degree of landscape horticulture, and also possess the national Professional and Technical certificate about horticultural technology in Taiwan. Therefore, my research fields across plant, environmental design and microclimates.
In 2011, I have done my PhD in the research about urban microclimate, plant physiology in heat environment regulation function, and urban environment design from University of Tokyo, Japan. Later on, I worked on Taipei City Government and National Taiwan University engaged in landscape planning and environmental research. From the beginning of working at university in 2013, I have obtained research grants from different organization (6 research projects) during 4 years, and also have served as reviewer for professional journal in landscape architecture and planting design for 5 years. In the past three years, I have been much honored to be invited to serve as various fields’ committee member (more than 5 committees).
