Research Experience：
Dr. Nazir Ahmad is working as researcher/assistant professor, Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Government College University Faisalabad-Pakistan. He worked as researchers in INRA, Nantes, France in 2007-08. Later on, he worked on Biological Processes and Food Biotechnology laboratory during his doctoral studies. He has tremendous ability to mobilize resources through research grants from different organization and also secured different research grants (4 research projects) during his short tenure. Until now he has contributed to 4 book chapters in addition to many research publications in impacted peer reviewed journals with an overall impact factor of above 40. In addition to that he has widely disseminated his research contributions to the masses through participation in different conferences, seminars and trainings, both at national and international levels. Besides this, he is also contributing his services actively in management duties as assigned by the University administration from time to time and working as member of professional, academic and cultural organizations.
Dr. Nazir has expertise and interest in impact of food processing on production of healthy and nutritious foods. He is working on different food processing methods and their effects on bioactive peptides spectra and bioactive nutrients from various food sources along with the evaluation of their biological effects through in vitro and in vivo systems.
